Turbocharged
Had a big rally today and had an opportunity to disappoint a couple of liter bike owners. On stop at Panama City Harley where you could get a couple of Dino pulls for $25, the mighty Rocket pulled 159 HP and 168 lbs torque. The three liter bikes that particaped before me were between 150-157 HP. A Kawasaki ZH2 (turbocharged) pulled 174 HP and a modified ZX1400R pulled 192. I left after my pull smiling ear to ear!
The operator said I could probably get another 5 HP if I let him rev to 7K to which I said no. My bike runs stock with the Carpenter ram intake and Sidwinder exhaust with a Nev tune adjusted using PC5/auto tune. Could not get air blown into the ram scoop so probably lost one or two there. If curious, see attached.
