Unlike the carpenter and some other pipes the TORs do not show much real exhaust as in they are covered with heat shields or that massive cone on each side, could anyone with one of them heat/temperature guns post the working temperature of the heat shields and the exhaust/cone.
Thanks.

I am going out later in the day and when I get Back I will run my heat gun over the stock header pipes and S/S Cross over pipe, then post the results ,unless someone beats me to it:thumbsup:

Thank you sir you are a school-er and a gentleman

A Dunce and a Rouge more likely
After a good run and still idling the middle pipe on my stock manifold was 283degrees and 278degrees C at the pipe before the 1 into 2 collector, this was on the pipes not the heat shields
not as warm as I thought it would be
cheers

A Carpenter engine with a mostly stock exhaust???? WHAT THE?????:confused:o_O

i know I know but the story behind it is---the last three times my wife has went to Los Angeles to see her Mother i have bought a 20x24 shed for my bikes a Triumph Adventurer and more recently the above Triumph Roadster now my excuse of I do not know where they came from is getting pretty old so if I buy a new exhaust just now she WILL cut my balls off.(but the day will come I am looking;))
