Hi Guys, I`d best start off by telling you I dont actually own a Rocket 3 myself. I have however ridden quite a few of them and covered a fair few km`s with the accompanying wide-eyed grin on my face so well known to you here. Our sister company www.GOTOURNZ.com had a Rocket on the rental fleet for some time that was freely available to the staff here.
I work for Thunderbike Powersports in New Zealand www.Thunderbike.co.nz . For those who don't already know us we are a motorcycle shop in Nelson, New Zealand who amongst other things design, manufacture and simply provide a wide a range of aftermarket products for Triumph owners around the world. Please don't imagine however that you are about to be the victims of incessant sales ploys etc. designed to extract your hard earned $'s that is not the purpose of my presence. I hope that by being here and conducting myself in a respectful manner I might be able to enquire as to the requirements of the Rocket 3 owers around the globe and maybe pick up on an idea or two that might not have even occurred to us here whilst perhaps offering a solution or two where applicable.
I hope that as fellow enthusiasts you will accept my presence on your forum. I currently own a 2002 Aprilia RSV-R which I have used for F1 and BEARs racing here in New Zealand, however it is now for sale and being replaced by a 2006 KTM 990 Superduke. I have also just sold my latest Post Classic GPZ1100 which I`ve been racing for the last 3years and I`m about to buy a pre-86 motocross bike to race in the ever growing in popularity Classic moto-x scene here. I also enjoy the excellent riding both on and off road that we enjoy here in New Zealand.
We have been a Triumph dealer since 1994, a BMW Parts and Service Agent and have now been a KTM dealer for 7 months.
If your still awake, I look forward to getting to know you fellas in here.
All the best :bch:
Cheers
Graeme
