Hello, my name is Steve and I'm from Michigan

It is probably theoretically okay, but the difference between theory and practice is that in theory they are both the same, . . .

hate to be pedantic Steve but if thats your Rocket in your profile pic its actually a 09 Standard not a classic. Classics come out with floorbourds instead of pegs and they also have a two tone paint scheem aswell as a chrome valve cover. I also think 08 was the last year the classic was built but i could be wrong on the last one

Hey Steve. Here is before and after Eastern Beaver relay install. Same bulbs used in both pics.

Your right Mitch looks like a 09 Standard in Phantom Black I think the only Classic color that was offered in 09 was the Blue and Aluminum with gold trim. 09 was the last year of the Classic model. Mid 08 is where they had VIN series that started incorporating the Update kit. Also 08 R3T units were the first to start experiencing failures of the detent spring which in 09 started showing up in the other models.

Herman, when i was riding in front of you in Arizona i kept wondering about your headlights, one was bearly visible on the rear view mirror and the other one was extremely bright, found out why when we stoped for gas:)

Sorry I am late to the party Steve. Been away from computer. A BIG hello from DEEP South Texas. Since I am riding a 09 Touring sorry no advice but many of the riders have done different changes depending on finances and skill level. Ride when you can but always be SAFE.
