Hello from the Midwest

I am lucky enough to have 3 bikes in my garage - Kawasaki Ninja 1000 Sports/Tourer / Triumph Trophy SE and now the R3 Roadster... Every time I go out these days it is on the Rocket. It feels so good to ride. Low center of gravity, loads of torque, shaft drive, good brakes, far better handling than it has any right to have and such a great "feel" to it. You will love it
Caveats as follows :

1. You should plan on a new seat if you plan to have your good lady on the back quite often unless she is a newer model with a slim posterior
2. Once you buy it you will want to upgrade it... especially if you read the stuff from the gang on here ... costing me a fortune ;-)
3 If you do much riding at night you will need to buy upgraded headlights - but can pick up a pair of LED units for about $100

4. If you ride it you will want to buy it....

Update - I just saw your latest comment - :) Good choice sir -Enjoy and welcome to the crew !
Yep, I already have been searching all over the forum on many different threads about additions I want to do. It's all about personalization now.

Welcome from Indiana.

Think about it we buy one of the worlds fastest motorcycle and then mod them for more. We are some Wild and Crazy guys.

Congrats Captain

I would like to think that I won't have to do much to it but I also know myself...lol...My last bike was a Goldwing...needs no mods there..ya right...progressive monotubes up front, updated triple tree, pull out converter and install torque loops with rush exhaust, add in a traxxion rear shock with spring, windbender windshield...lol..you get the idea..

Oh I did not say the bike needs any mods. It is just a sickness we all have. Some much more than others.

I am one of the more normal ones. I did the exhaust, intake, and tune. Then there are those that catch Turbo fever.

Hello Wade and welcome from Virginia. Sorry for the tardy greeting, been a bust winter. How are you and the Rocket getting on now that the melt has begun?
I was in Minneapolis in Jan when the temps were -30F. I cold feel my beard freezing as soon as I walked outside the hotel.
