Hallo from South Africa

Also what is the suspension like on this bike - rider and pax? The HD's are horrible.
Which R3 you looking at? The R3T has different geometry and front end rear shock s than the R3R. I have never had to switch any out since it was fine for me...

depending on your weight if you are over 100kg's you may need to change them Hagon Nitros are popular that and the Progressive 444's, I have the Nitro and love them

Seriously? You bastard.. I want a carton/case of that stuff. I haven't had a taste in over 20 years and I can still remember exactly how it smells, tastes and looks... I need it!!

Haai. Hoe gaan dit met jou? (thank you Google:D)

Welcome to the site from New Jersey, Jay.

The stock rear shocks are a bit harsh, so the cognoscenti doe swap them out for the aforementioned hagons, Progressives and Wilburs in descending order of popularity. It shouldn't be necessary to mess with the front springs unless you have in specific, generally unusual, load or riding conditions that might call for upgraded progressively wound ones.

Roadsters have better rear shockies than the earlier Standard/Classic models . Roadsters have progressive springs in their back shockies .. like I suggested just go take one for a ride , you'll know if it's the bike for you or not.
