Heya folks! Just bought the beast in the avatar from my local dealer. I am from Oshawa and i enjoy long rides on the beach.

Previous bikes are Maxim X, Honda Magna V65 and VF750 (most recent) and a bike that i really loved and sorta miss Suzuki Madura 1200!

So yeah you can say i love power since all of those arent too shabby power wise, tho nothing compared to this beast!

In fact i am still waiting for for her, Dealer prep and all... It's a 2013 Rocket III Roadster. It is slightly used but in VERY good shape with about 14000 on the odo.

Riding wise i tend to do long rides every summer. 2 years ago for my summer vacation i rode all the way from home to New Mexico, via South Dakota, Montana, BC, WA, CO and Back home via Virgina and all the way up. Iron Butt and Cannonball Canadian rides fan!

Gona be nice to have a bigger fuel range than 140KM!/90 miles! Albeit still small but yet better!

Anyway, looking forward to chatting with you all and getting input on a few mods. Thinking to get a batwing fairing (if such a thing exist...?) and some slip on that are more similar to the touring ones. The current pipes on the bike are probably the one thing i am not a fan of.

I have owned a couple of the rides you mentioned and wonder how you rate the V65 compared to the short lived Madura? I have not had a Madura but have wanted one since they came out as the VMAX contender. I know, it didn't live up to that challenge, but I always thought it was a good looking Suke

I would have kept the Madura if it wasnt for that terrible range! Loved that bike, probably my favorite bike after the Maxim X. My V65 had the second gear issue... which i didnt learned until after the damage was done so maybe that fact alone makes it that i am not a fan of it? Madura was so solid! Shaft drive just like the Rocket but obviously tamer somewhat with 116HP.

Only one i didnt own was the Vmax. I've always dreamed of owning the Vmax for it's power but i am not a fan of the look. Yet I can appreciate it but it isnt "cruiser" enough for my taste.

Rocket has the look AND the power! Hopefully the dealer gives me a call in the coming days! Cant wait to go for a ride!

Hey Senadin welcome and congrats on your purchase! I Assume you bought the bike from GP? I got my 2012 Rocket Roadster from them as well. I absolutely love the bike. Hopefully will see you around sometime, I've never seen another rocket around my area (Richmond Hill) Although I do know we have one other rider in Thornhill but have yet to see him riding it around as well!!

Yup, that's the one! Went in to look at it with the intent of purchasing one in the spring. Then i told myself, might as well buy it now... There's some riding left in the season! You might see me, i live in Oshawa but work is in Markham.

Very nice! Yeah they don't have very many rockets in stock so you may as well grab one while they're there, I also bought mine used from their.. it was a 2012 with only 600kms on it! Told me that some old guy bought the bike and didn't like it... too bad for him, I got a stinking good deal on it! Hope to see you riding around.

Well i called the sales guy today for an update as to when she will be ready. He told me monday or tuesday!


That's cool! But....

...I am working tonite and saturday night until 8 am Sunday. Sunday i have to drive to Montreal for training! ill be there for a whole **** week!

Wait it gets better! I come back friday night and i work Saturday, Sunday and Monday (Oct 8th, 9th and 10th) So basically ill take possession on the 11th!!!!!

I think i know how expecting fathers feel now! It's only 10 days from now....haha

The good news is that the 11-12-13 and 14th when i am off, the current forecast is no rain! Maybe a 3 days cruise down the states wouldnt hurt
