Go Fast, Legally!!

Wishing you a fun day and good skill. Please let us know how you do.

I took mine to the drag strip in all it's full dress glory to Firebird Raceway last season and got a 12.8 seconds at 112 mph. Not as good as I wanted but I'm OK with it as it was my first time on the drag strip. Funny thing is my race number there is 1. I got that number again this year so I'm definitely going out a few times this season.

Still waiting on Alain for the modified TuneECU file, the one he did to 8000 was a 20355 base tune, won't work in my bike :(

It's holding a pretty flat 13 AFR from 3500-5500 with a little swing to the mid 13s over 6000. I'm within a couple HP of a perfect tune as it sits right now.

Tested ignition timing changes on the Dyno, we added 4 degrees at 100% throttle and gained exactly zero power but also lost none, so I adjusted it back, no reason to add if it's not gaining anything. Does tell me I probably don't need to run high octane, though I still do because my heads decked quite a bit.

Shooting for 9.7, but I almost certainly can't pull it off. If I break into 9.99 or better I'll be happy. Even in the low 10s I'll be happy, it's my first time at the strip on a bike (though far from my first time at a strip or launching the rocket).

Very much looking forward to the roll racing events.... there's going to be some serious butt hurt when a "cruiser" whoops up on some tuner cars :). Pretty sure it's a roll from like 30, aka right below peak torque in 1st gear....

Will be taking every advantage I can and softening up the rear end to get mad squat, installing my PC-V ignition module and enabling ignition cut based quick shifting for 2-3 and 3-4 shifts.

HEY how did you make out ?

Got this done today:
Installed PC-V ignition
Installed QS module
Installed new EBC HH fronts
Adjusted TPS and reset ISCV
Balanced TBs
Adjusted Headstock Bearings
Installed my Angry Screen using new mounts
Adjusted Tbars to be as low as possible without hitting tank
re-ran handlebar wires to be cleaner looking
Found and charged my GO-PROs (both)

Did some recon on some of the cars from last year....there's a few I certainly won't beat if they show, some over 1100whp...

Last thing on the list before this weekend: buy a ****y/cheap Snell certified helmet because my DOT/ECE carbon race helmet isn't good enough according to NHRA...

Full leathers, gloves, boots and a well maintained bike that doesn't leak.

As well as an endorsement on your license.

I have leather jacket, pants, boots, gloves, but no Snell.
WWhich are you getting g and will it be XL?  :p
