Gearbox mush?

Great news.. had mine go last year on a 15month old bike. They thought that it was the actuator arm nut, so stipped it all down and fitted the update kit. Was only the spring on the detent arm. I went to the shop to have a look see how they pulled it all apart. They also found a smashed cast washer, can't remember where it came from and some of the gears had rounded so more bits ordred and replaced.

I have spoken to the service guy at the dealers and told him to make sure they road test the gearbox and I will give it a good going over as well. If its going to fall apart I would rather it did it now.

Latest update.. I got the bike back last saturday and used it on the mag rally here on Sunday. The gearbox has worked great so far (100miles). When I was moving my bikes in the garage I discovered an oil puddle under the rocket. There was a small drip from the sump plug. Now after my 20,000 mile serice in July the sump plug was slack and the bike dumped its oil as I drove into the car park at work, I was very lucky. So I get an allen key and the plug is solid I couldn't move it. It was way tighter than it should be imo. I was thinking that after leaving it slack they have over compensated and romped it up and knackered the washer. Anyway took it back yesterday to get a new washer on the plug and after waiting a couple of hours they told me the bike needs a new sump? It has become damaged somehow? The couldn't get the leak to stop and so I now have to wait while they get a new sump delivered. I'm guessing that the sump was damaged either at the last service or when they had the engine out to fix the gearbox. I am so fed up with the dealer here but there isn't another for 100 miles.
The good news is that I have got a demonstrator 800 XC tiger to play with till Tuesday. Drove home in a 25 mile traffic jam and the tiger was fantastic.
