Oh yeah .... I almost forgot about the most important reason for getting a GiPro ..... seeing what gear your in all the time and stopping at 5! :D

If you've never had a display someone can always say "I know what gear I'm in, it's something you get used to." But once you have one, I wondered how I got along without for so long. LOL

Welcome aboard WA Cruiser mit Japanese cargo.....I'm on the East Coast of Oz and also ride a 2005 R3 (from new). Love the beast. Do you have the standard pillion seat? If so...you have a very tolerant wife. Good luck. I find this site excellent for all sorts of mods etc.

Mit Japanese Cargo LOL

Hey Barney LOL nice touch;) Saori is a great girl loves the bike and no whinge ever!
The bike has duel 'Gel saddles, mercifully the pill is a little wider than the std but being Japanese the beam is narrow  on the bike at 60Kg she is totally relaxed and has a great sense of humour, she is solid gold :D....Thanks for the Welcome

Hello from the east coast around byron bay / gold coast.

This area where you can introduce yourself is a great idea. Makes us new r3 owners members feel at ease right from the get go.

Already learned a lot from these blokes. :)

PS: still waiting for my tuneup cable but from what i gather you can adjust the secondaries to work better from within the software rather than removing them.

Well GiPro arrived today from Cal SportBike..Hope to have the secondaries out anf the GiPro in on Friday:D... (customer service is billiant)
Start a new thread and let us know how you like it after the install, I love hearing reactions from new users.

Let us know how you go, I would be interested in a few details ie. what tune system you are using and where you sourced the cable.
