Yeah. You buy a generic door opener and take it out the casing, install in bike with some wiring to the horn button. Pretty cool idea!

I've tried the top method but found it interfered with other culinary and bedroom related activities.

Well, since I do most of the cooking, and the bedroom is only for sleeping, I fully believe in the two tap horn method. I call when I leave work and the garage door is open when I get home.

Did one tied to the high/low switch... horn pissed off neighbors late at night.
