Hi all,

Long time lurker, thought I should introduce myself. From Gippsland in Victoria Australia, had a 05 rocket which met an unfortunate end. Tried a thunderbird 1600 for a while. Great bike but not the same…..Back on a 2012 roadster and loving it.

Greetings from sunny North Texas. I bought a 2013 T-bird Storm 1700 because I missed my old Rocket. Great bike but gutless compared to a Rocket. I then bought a newer Rocket (wasn't even broke in) and now I don't miss my old Rocket at all. I do ride the T-bird still but not as much. Variety is the spice....

Better in every respect. More power, more torque, lighter, more agile, riding modes, decent adjustable suspension, cruise control, hill hold, heated grips, relaxed riding position, what's not to like? Old vs. new:
