Yes. Stelvio is a really epic ride, but the weather has to be right.
Even in mid summer there is snow at the top........

Then, down the hill a bit and you're basking (sweltering) in 40degrees C and in the world of Moto Guzzi.........Just fantastic. (other Italian brands are available )

I did the Stelvio in June and it was amazing. The snow really left my speechless

June is prime time.........I ran into that in California. 80 degrees at the bottom, and huge snow walls on either side of the road at the top.

I just looked it up, it’s close to where that infamous earthquake took place years ago. I hope your family wasn’t affected.
If you make it there make sure you rent a bike and ride Campo imperatore . I’ve spent two days this passed summer, roads and views were stunning
