Fuel Tank Strap Replacement

Anyone have directions or video of how to remove the metal tank strap?

Mine was scratched when purchased bike and just got a replacement but it's not clear to me how to remove it.

do you have the part number in the bag or something? if so, instructions may be available in triumphinstructions.com

Thank you. I saw that, but there's this black screw/bolt on the seat side that I have no idea how to reach or remove.

Just the bolt under the front of the seat/back of the tank is all you need to undo. The strap & "buckle" at the front just hooks onto the tank - it all comes off as one piece.
 
I'm somewhat puzzled as to which bolt you guys are referring to.
Anyone can post a pic of said bolt?

Looks like you just need to remove that bolt that it's in the bottom of the tank securing the strap. Looks allen. Once you remove that the strap should be free. I don't think you need to remove the tank, just the seat
