Fuel Injector Cleaner

Just for my peace of mind, since I’ve never used this stuff. Do I wait till the tank is almost empty then use it, what’s a good ratio?
I use Gumout Regane High Mileage. 6 oz. per bottle. Treats up to 19 gallons. My 07 classic gas tank holds 6.2 gals. I would put in 2 oz. Put it in when you your tank is almost empty. Run your tank till you have 1/2 to a gallon of gas left in the tank. Techron is good, but over priced. This Regane has more PEA per/ oz. than anything else I have been able to find. Do not know where you live. I am in Ohio and the best place to buy it is at Meijer's.

I’m in Brooklyn, NY I have a shop to go to.

I used techron the last time I treated my tank because I was waiting on the redline to come. I used half a bottle and yea you should wait till the tank is just about empty so it mixes up in the gas good. After the initial treatment ( half bottle) I run a 1/4 bottle in every other tank. I did it on my rocket and goldwing.

This has been very helpful, thank you.

I did the stupid thing of leaving my bike alone for 4 months with gas still in the take with no prep. So, every time I start it, it won't go unless I rev the throttle. It's been like this for about a month until I realized what the issue was. I got fuel injector cleaner last week, but I felt like it wasn't doing anything. That was until just yesterday, I was able to start the bike with no worries, and was able to do it again today.

I'll get the fuel injector cleaner that was recommended from you guys and give it a try, but if all is well, I think I'm set.

Would you suggest I reset the ECU or just leave it alone?
