Fuel Gauge Stopped Working

I finally remapped my ECU for my TORS using TuneECU and I noticed during the test ride that the fuel gauge stopped working. It reads completely empty with 0 miles remaining. Any ideas what it could be? Anybody experience this? I've installed hotgrips and a speaker system w/ a relay but those were about 10 months ago. The bike is a 2011 R3T.

Did ya mebbe get water in the gauge? that can ( & historically has) caused a few members some problems.

I shook the tank and there was maybe a quarter tank of fuel in it. Funny thing I decided to do the stupid fixes first and gassed up. As I got about halfway home my gauge went right back up to normal. I'm thinking maybe a little water in the gauge and it's on it's way out. I'm not happy about it but I'm glad its working. Thanks for the responses, I'll keep you posted!
