English electrics for you. Fuel gauge on my Landy doesn't work, despite everything being fine. All components and wires function individually, but put them together and no chance
Problem solved, the next morning the battery was flat, I have a battery charger with a 5 minute charge then a start mode it started straight away but the Fuel gauge still wouldn't work ,put in a new Yuasa battery of the correct amperage (ouch $A198) and bingo fuel gauge and DTG readout back to normal,I don't know why the gauge and DTG readout would not function with the motor running? maybe a dead cell in the battery,but everthing else worked when running, if I didn't know Joseph Lucas was gone I could have blamed him
