Trumpy...There just has to be air in your line or a faulty master cylinder seal. I can't believe your dealer can't simply do a cylinder rebuild. this is soooo easy! Usually just means replacing the seal and/or re-honing the bore.
I had the same problem.Dealer took out the piston behind the brake pad cleaned it and reassembled it.Works ok so far.Problem i have is the front locks up to easy.Got no confidence now at all with the front end.
Seems to me that a lot of you guys ride more than one bike, me i only got the one, so i know it inside out and don't have an issue with the brakes, they stop me well enough.
I drive different cars on a daily basis and they are all slightly different in feel in the brake department.
