Want to Buy (Found) New Bonneville R3 Mirror Adaptors

Here is where I am at. I used a 5/16 cap screw to mount the left mirror on the clutch perch. I made two spacers that fill the hole and step it down to 5/16. The flat top of the clutch perch is fine for the mirror. My real issue is the brake side with its rounded edge that leaves marks on the bottom of the mirror. See the picture below to see how the mirror sits on the brake. What I want is to raise it up a bit to clear the rounded edge. So I have a nylon spacer to hold it up and a 5/16 bolt long enough to go from the bottom to the mirror with enough threads in the mirror for strength in the aluminum arm. Note though that the mirror mounting hole has a shoulder in it, so I had to cut a couple sections of pipe to made spacers to fill the space. Essentially my stack of spacers follows the profile of the mirror mount or those Kuryakyn mirror adaptors that @warp9.9 linked to.

Ok thats the main difference the brake side ares is more of a flat area like you have on the clutch.

Here’s a couple more pictures showing the spacers I made. The inner is cut from a brass tube with 5/16 ID and 11/32 OD. The outer is cut from a stainless tube slightly over 11/32 ID and 7/16 OD. The inner one is to step down from the bottom hole and the outer one to make it a little less sloppy. On the right side I cut the spacers to go up to the shoulder so the nylon spacer has more surface to rest on as I tighten down the mirrors. I also added nylon washers to damp vibrations.

Found. I found a set of the New Bonneville adaptors on eBay...took a little searching to get the right search terms, but there were two and now there are only one. If anyone happens to be looking you can check out the listing at:

Triumph Scrambler New Bonneville universal mirror adapter Harley Kuryakyn | eBay

I also got a set of the Kuryakyn raised mirror adaptors (part# 1892) if that doesn't work. Yes, I made my spacers and I like them, but I also wanted to see if these will be less sloppy in the hole diameters than what I whipped up.

I just want to follow this up for posterity. I received the New Bonneville mirror adaptors and installed them. The one on the brake side of the Touring worked very well with elevating the mirror to clear the rounded master cylinder reservoir. I just wish they were black, but The fit is excellent.

I had also bought a set of the Kuryakyn 1.5” raised mirror adaptors (Part number 1892) and they don’t fit the Triumph hole. They are 15mm in diameter.

I will try the Kuryakyn Triumph mirror adaptors for the clutch side and will post an update when I get those.
