Footboard feelers

The titanium will create lotsa nice sparks when dragging and looks kinda kewl at night!
Got a set a few years ago for my OEM R3R pegs. They were fun, but were ground off and gone in less than a season.

Too late now to try them on my Standard boards because the threads are ground away.
Not fond of this design where the bolt head drags. This design may function better:

The 2010 touring boards I put on my 07 standard have replaceable plates. No feelers, or stub thing. Warp noticed how the touring boards are tapered back, unlike the classic somewhat rectangular shape. He felt they have a little better clearance

I know the Standard boards are higher off the pavement than are the Classic boards or Roadster pegs.
Don't know for sure about the Touring, but I would hazard a guess that with the 16 inch wheels and smaller aspect ratio tires it has less clearance.
Perhaps you would give us some upright measurements from pavement to the rear, middle & front of the boards?

I like those! They'll be available in 8mm 1.0 somewhere. At least you can still remove them once they're ground right down

Which rails did you use to mount the touring boards? A bit more clearance would be nice but I don't want to remove the boards and go to pegs to do it.

Ok I'll answer he transfered his touring rails and all. Im not sure if there is any difference then black verses chrome. In my looking I can confirm via triumph part numbers that the aluminum castings for the floor boards are in fact the same part number for the thunderbird 1600 and the America. Bet they are the same offered for the bobbers. Only difference might be how and where each rail fit. I will look into buying a set to see if they fit the classic rails .
