Anyone else have problems finding neutral? Seems like the more miles I get on it, the harder it is to get neutral. I'm getting tired of fighting with it.

thanks, I'll be sure to check that out. Do you think that stretch would be an issue after just 4000 miles?

This was a problem posted some time ago about increasing difficulty finding neutral. General opinion was that clutch cable was stretching a little and should be adjusted at handlebar to a few mm slack
Thanks good to know.

Yup the guys are right about correct clutch cable adjustment. The Rocket transmission is very finicky about that. Cable stretch is probably most likely cause for this happening over time but for you guys on the pre-2006 bikes, you'd best look at my clutch warning thread

The older clutch mechanisms can wear badly and give the impression of a stretching cable.

Try slipping the clutch in and out just a slight amount while hunting for neutral, this method works best for me. Also, find neutral just before coming to a stop. Onced stopped you can assist with a slight rocking forward and backward of your Rocket.
