Mine is a Gold '06 Classic with a black motor...and it alreasdy has had to have the the timing chain and gears done. And the headlight relay installed and a new ignition switch too. My understanding is that the faulty parts were not that common compared to how many bikes were sold worldwide and it only effects late '05 through early '08 bikes.
So if you have over 25,000 miles on yours and it isn't having any trouble, I guess you are a lot luckier than me.
In that case I hate you...but I still love my bike....lol

RED & black or black & red / silver engine 29000 miles it takes me where i want to go and brings me home. has plenty of power what else could you ask for.
