there are small saddles under there that receive a tongue to hold things in place...they have rubber in them to stop that noise. Sounds like a rubber is missing.

I haven´t looked there yet, but the dealer was looking into it on my previous visit (1000km check-up), so I guess they would find out. It really looks like the shield has been bent too much so it touches the exhaust. I´ll se what they will do with it...

You guys are both lucky, I live in NY, my local dealer dropped Triumph, I think the closest dealers now are Pennsylvania and Ohio
