Just curiuos what i need to do to get rid of my speed limiter (top end). Too many open roads and long streches to be governed. Eventualy want to do more but waiting for funds.

You just need one of the software tuning aids to raise it a bit. I have mine set at 1000 KPH so it will not get in my way

Whats that. Like 700mph. Should do. Can i just download a program off the netand if so where? Thanks

There is two software tuning aids out there Tune Boy which cost and a freeware called tune ecu. Tune ecu is limited in how high you can raise it but it will be higher then you can go with the stock Roadster. just search the forum you will find information on them.

.....or the GIPro is an option. I believe it eliminates the rev limiter also.

having trouble finding GIpro for a 2012 roadster. Is 2011 the same?

You will be able to do more with the software tuning aids. I would not waste youur money on the gigpro stuff sure its not as expensive as some mods but the freeware tuning aid cost about 20 bucks for the cable. The real bonus is you can do engine diagnostics with it which is what will save you money in the long run. Paying a Mechanic at the dealer can add up fast.
Just my 2 cents worth.
Enjoy

ECU cable

If you do want to go the TuneECU route (recommended ) then make sure you get the right cable.
Go to Amazon.com and type in (USB Cable for Triumph Motorcycle TuneECU Program)
This is the correct cable.
As Warp said you can remove your speed limiter with this software.
