Awesome! That's the first custom exhaust or slip on for this bike that looks like it belongs. I also wonder about heat. Stock exhaust roast my thighs at times. I imagine this requires Nomex pants and boots.
The top bolt in the rear tube carbon fiber shield will get me one day, if I ride on the balls of my feet, it’s ok, soon as I shift the foot forward to hit the brake, I feel the heat.

You might consider cutting a piece of kevlar fabric in the shape of the heat shield and mount between the header pipe and heat shield. You buy it fairly cheap on Amazon:
