I would check all the coil wires first as the have been know to vibrate loose. Then If you have done any filter mods I would check the wires running to the injectors. Plus iThese are an easy check. I would like to know if you get the same vibration in nuetral as the rpms wind up?

the ones that failed ended up looking like this.

amazingly it was the older style basket 04 to 05 I know your sweating it but the only two that have detonated while running has also had a turbo on it. If it aint you clutch I am thinking upgrade to the tranny or rear output bearing. the only other time I have felt a shake under load is when I burnt up two pistons and popped the head gasket. the vibration was do to the loss of compression in two cylinders.

Don't sweat it to much as I stated the only bad baskets were on the turbo bikes and they spool up to much to fast. I don't know if your a wrench turner but checking the clutch is about a 3 hour job. Other then that if your not much at wrenching I would let a qualified mechanic look at it hell there might be some warranty/good will stuff involved as Triumph has been pretty good to bikes that were not reported as heavily modified.
If it is the basket I would buy the one that fits the 06 model the rear spring plates are .030" thicker then the early models other then that the only difference is some oil holes had been added by drilling to the early model and were casted in on the newer style. If you not building massive HP a billet one might be a little to pricey.
