A 2005 with only 6500 miles......what! Are you sure the speedo hasn't been unhooked or something! Just doesn't sound right to me as I had 6500 on mine after 3 months of just weekend use.

Are you even sure it is low oil pressure because mine has the upper cylinder ticking while its running.

Thanks for the info: Brought the bike to DeSimmone
They called Triump about the problem. They said tear the motor down to find out whats wrong. Slated for this commeing wed. Bike has only 6.450 Miles on it this is not the way to start out. I hope Triump steps up to the plate what should go wrong at that mileage.??? My screems will echo in the anals of this and every web page of Triump potential customers..

If thats the pump at the front you can service it from the front engine cover. What can happen is that the water pump gets hit, that can bend the front cover and water pump. This can break the shaft from the oil pump to the water pump and the drive chain can come off. This will cause the oil light to come on. If you are lucky it's the oil pump drive chain making the clicking noise and not something more serious, this would depend on how long you rode it for after the light came on. To fix this you would need, front cover, water pump, oil pump, drive chain, cover gasket and O rings. You will have to remove the clutch basket to put the chain back on as well. First thing to do is check the water pump for damage and take it from there.
