You see, if you had bought a Jap bike this wouldn't be happening!

Thanks for your mature assistance ..... where did I leave that fly swatter ?

You will need a bigger can than that for our Billy..... Your local stealer should be able to extract the dtc and identify the fault easy enough, good luck

Just went for another blast, started it, the light stayed on, left it idle while missus, buggared around with helmet, ****** & jacket, 2 mins light goes out, 12 klm to store, light still out, are Triumph buying gremlins from HD for these things ? ? ?

Seem's you need to bugger around a little more if that takes the light out... Get the bike in for a check, some of the wiring loom plugs are prone to taking in water, more so if a pressure blaster is used to wash her down with, could be something to check , hey at least it's still going.. gremlins n all

check the tuneboy thread, if you get one it can tell you what error you had, i reckon there are probably cheeaper gizmo's that will do it too

Mine used to play up on the alarm every time I washed it , did all the connectors under the tank and never played up again 8) Quite a birds nest of wiring under the tank

Then I bought a quality jap bike

Muck around with anything electrical and the Engine Mgt System throws up an error. When the light goes on an error exists. If I get the light on I check the error with my Tuneboy it's always nothing so I reset the errors and the light goes out.

As I say it has only happend to me when I play around with the electrics, like disconnecting the battery, wiring up the aux. etc...
