It helps catch the engine from falling on its face and dieing out when you come off throttle, this tb balance and tps all suspect but as said, tune ecu will be needed to correct. The stepper can be cleaned and adjusted to correct spec, see owners manual or look up warp 9 in search box with stepper motor as search and he has alot of info on this cleaning and adjusting correctly not just willy nilly turning 7mm adjustment screw. And Hermans method of spraying and slinging that throttle has worked on 2 bikes recently that i was following along with, so that dont take much so some spraying and twisting and that throttle should snap back, check the throttle cables at cam for correct tension, you should barely have to move throttle for response and when on full throttle it should snap back, older bike maybe cables adjusted for throttle and cleaning. The search button has it all, if you dont find the stuff by warp on adjustment and cleaning just say so and ill attach it here for ya, i gotta dig but i like it
