End of the road for the Rocket?----or not??

Having heard the recent new about Triumph stopping production of the R-3 this next year or so, am curious if there is other accurate info out there on what may be in the planning stages down the road..have been thinking about another rocket, but will likely wait to see what they are going to do....Has there been talk of bigger displacement or even a Rocket 4??? or maybe a completely different model?? Find it hard to believe Triumph would totally scrap such an awesome engine or the bike for that matter...any insider info would be appreciated. don
