Not sure why, but it works.
I hope you can understand the PICS. I know it's mad, but I used GREEN wire because it's what I had that is heat tolerant.

Wire both horns together with single wire and mate one wirelong enough to get back to under the tank for hotwire pick up.

Horn Pair.jpg

6 inches for the horn to horn and 18 inches for the horn toharness.

The horns use the common ground from the mounts (centerstud).

Jumper the relay from terminal 30 to 86

Find the wires for the horn. Splice the wires off of the main harness under the tank. I cut into the line about 2 inches away from the main harness

Splice to horn wire.jpg

There are 2 blue/black and one purple/black.

Splice into the BLUE/BLACK (2) and leave a 12 inch dangle of one wire
Splice into the PURPLE/BLACK (1) and leave a 12 inch dangle of one wire

Wire it up

Purple/Black to the 85 terminal
Blue/Black to the 30/(86)
Horn to the 87
The horns (all 3) work and are loud.

If this is unclear, let me know with PM

Remove the "chrome" plastic cover in front of the OEM horn.
The horns come with two small metal brackets.
The bracket attaches to the bolts that held on the fake horn cover.
The horns "hang" from the brackets and I pointed the bells to 15 degrees off center.
They are loud and advertised as 130 db.
My exhaust is nice and lud, but the horns can't be missed.
Cars in commuter traffic take notice.

I see those horns are red. The fastest and now the loudest color. What is the decibel rating and where did you mount them ?

Picture of them mounted?

That is a possibility Lupe. And I was also sort of thinking that if they are pointed slightly downward,,,, the resonance will be reflected better off of the pavement. The true test however... is to pull up behind a cellular phone yacking suburban female mini-van driver... and issue a nice blast of the horn. If she drops the phone and pee's in her spandex... the horn placement is effective. :p

I've had my Stebel mounted this way for about 15,000 miles and haven't had an issue with water or debris since....

I thought of pointing them down to avoid cathing the bugs. So far no problem. It would be easy with a longer piece of angled metal.
I put this together with the parts from the box. and no drilling.

You can move the horns to mount on the sides of the radiator. or Similar to yours.
So far there aren't any bug issues and they are tough plastic and the chrome grates come off. If they got "BUGGED" they can be cleaned out easily. After I mounted them, I liked the look.
I wanted a horn without a compressor or anything more than the electric hook up.
I might try another position for sound, but the forward pointing is definitely noticed.
I wear earplugs and a full face ARAI RX-Q and it's loud from the seating position at 70 MPH.
To each his own view. I like yours. I also like mine.

The pics aren't that clear as to position.
The "bell" of the horn is just slightly down so if there is water it will drain out (after you stop). High speed will "force" water into them, but the beauty of these (cheap) horns is the simplicity of them. The noise maker is at the top of the horn and the lower half is the amplifier/cone. The red part is just a plastic fascia cap and can be removed or painted (i'm thinking grey or black)
They are sturdy and seem to be weatherproof.
