How to trimm your seat cheap!! hope somebody can benefit from this !!

Nice writeup, especially with the step -by- step photo's Lupe. Takes a lot of gumption to tear into your wife's new bike and do something like that. Did you have a backup plan; like purchasing another seat, if it went wrong?

Or did you just go "balls to the wall" on this one?

But the question is my friend..........
Does SHE like it? Does it fit her now?
That's way more important than it fittin' you.
Or did you forget the panic when you snapped
that there might NOT be another seat available...
An you just screwed up her mothers day present...
yea, does it fit her, that's the important question.
But you did do a good job and an excellent mod.
Nice write up too.

Very nice job!!!...i watched my seat being done and as a tip...he used an electric carving knife ( as in carving turkey)...very good on foam.......

IDK, i mean i don't know,,, how much do they charge for something like that ???

Nice bloody job mate. I had this done to my R3 seat (for me, not for the wife) and it cost almost $300 to have professionally done. That included new material though ... and a welt.
