I have just fitted TOR'S, Decat, 3 K&N'S, GI-PRO and O2 eliminator also a PCIII. The problem is my PC III maybe faulty and as I bought it used I may have a problem taking it back.
My question is
I have the TuneECU software and USB cable so I can communicate with the stock ECU. If my PC III is faulty can I just use the stock ECU on it's own and download a current map for my setup to it via TuneECU or do I still need a PCIII or similar connected to the R3 to achieve the best results.
If someone has a map that matches your configuration you could likely get good results from that. Best option would be having it tuned on a dyno, but dyno operators with TuneECU knowledge are few and far between.
Check the TuneECU section and see if anyone has posted a map that would match your set up.
