Eastern beaver fuse box kit question.

I am looking for someone who installed one and which wiring kit you purchased and what length.
It's for a R3T that will have Garmin, speakers with amp up front as well.
Also might do the headlight mode as well if you have info on which one I'll listen as I suck at wiring.

I have mine mounted just behind the battery next to the rear fender so the 18" kit worked just fine. That's on a Standard so you'll need to evaluate if it would work for your Touring. It's really simple to wire up.

For the GPS, I would recommend that you connect to one of the unswitched ports. This will allow you to mess with the GPS without having to turn the key on. The downside is that you need to be mindful of turning the GPS off when appropriate.

The speakers/amp can connect to the switched ports.

When connecting the battery leads to the PC-8, do a close visual inspection to make sure that the washers have not hung up on any other parts thus compromising the connection. (learned the hard way)

The EB stuff is first rate quality. I would also consider doing the headlight mod while you have everything unbuttoned.

The taillight circuit is nearby under the right side panel and you can use it to trigger the switched lead.

I mounted the smaller fuse box on an R3T. Since I have triple K&Ns I have mine mounted to the stock airbox screw hole. The R3T is pre-wired for GPS so you can use the bike's wiring for that. Even with the stock air filter in place, there should be ample room under the seat for the unit. That gives easy access to the battery and taillight circuit previously mentioned.

Really? That's the first time that I've heard of that. Is there a connector up front somewhere?

Its under the tank on right side. If I remember right there are 2 wires- a purple and black wire going to the connector. You can order a matching pigtail from Triumph to splice into your GPS wiring or just cut off the connector and make your own splice.

Yup, I've got my radar detector wired into the GPS wiring and my GPS plugged into the accessory outlet. Switched them around since I already had a plug for the GPS that matched the accessory outlet.
