While riding home today I started having problems with my bike popping back into neutral after up shifting, or down shifting. It didnt seem to matter which gear. I noticed it in almost all of them, although it seemed to start while shifting from 1st to 2nd. what do you guys think? Detent spring?

Sounds like it mate .. jumping out of gear usually means it's the spring. Warranty job .. guess you'll have to drive to that upcoming shindig, decisions been made ... by the bike

What TC says. Havent had the prob myself but a mate did and spring fixed it.

I almost certainly is the detent spring but don't bother fixing it. Ride the bike carefully to the dealer and go home on that Roadster you have your eye on.

Easy fix, takes about 6 hours. Just need an impact, thats about the only thing other than hand tools. Make sure you recover all of the spring. If you can't find it, its probably in the oil pan, then its a little longer job.
