Deoster up in this mofo!

Another Aussie welcome. Yeah right, we're the crazy ones. Refreshingly blunt more like it. We don't even call a spade a spade. It's a ***n spade. I'm sure you'll get used to it.

Tomcat - On a recent reply to your comment about me liking Ned's bike in the thread http://www.r3owners.net/bearclaw-corner/15546-best-looking-rocket.html, I began by saying I wasn't taking you to task but rather, just clarifying.

Since I apparently keep getting misinterpreted *sigh* and then indiscriminately attacked by you for some things I've said, I will take you to task for your comments above in this thread as they have no basis for such a retaliatory tone.

BigBlock or whatever your name is
The name is BigBlockRocket. Please check my avatar for reference.

there's nothing wrong with any of the Australians on this site

I never said there was. Aussies are awesome. So is the country and I'd love to come visit sometime. However, do you always take things so literally? Again, it might be a cultural language barrier (though it might just be you) but I suggest first asking a person their meaning/intention for clarification...before flaming them. I meant "crazies" as a warm gesture of respect at the wild antics, funny stories, and interesting personalities I've read regarding some of the Aussies here on the forums. As in "that guy is crazy and I love his craziness"! It was never meant as a literal term nor an insult in any way.

you're the one that turned up carrying on like a teenager and talking sh!t .. carrying on like a PORK CHOP as we say in Australia

??? I have no idea what you're talking about with this statement. I have never "carried on like a teenager" or "talked sh!t" on these forums. To say so is rude, condescending, and unwarranted. Generally, I have only been here browsing the forums (with more than a few laughs), asking mod questions to become more educated, posting about the nice looking bikes, greeting new members as a sign of friendship, and commenting here and there. Again, there may some cultural issue going on here such as when 2013r3roadster got flamed in the http://www.r3owners.net/bearclaw-corner/15438-man-card.html thread. I'm not sure if that's what happening in my case but if you're going to make such inflammatory statements towards me...back them up or at least make an attempt to clarify my intent first.

Bit rude telling the new fella it's us that are crazy .. don't you think

No...I don't think it was rude because it was never meant to be as I explained above. You simply misunderstood my meaning. I am not a rude person in any way with my relations with others and I never intend to be.

In the future, it seems I may need to be more judicious with the American words/phrases I use...but I'd appreciate it if you'd refrain from blowing my words out of proportion until you verify what I'm saying and what my intentions are.

And to desoter...I apologize for any possible misunderstanding with my post and hope I didn't give you the wrong impression about our fellow Aussies. They're GREAT!

Let's be honest, the machines we love are one of the maddest things on the road. I'd say most guys on this forum have a couple screws loose, but that's what makes the bike (and the people) so excellent.

I've got nice thick chicken strips on my rear tire, I generally keep the front end on the ground and I like to keep as much rubber as possible on my tire as opposed to the street... I'm downright sensible... maybe after a few years on the bike I'll develop the stones I'd need to play with the big kids.
