I wouldn't be too quick to say it was poor service or lack of parts/accessories (though it could be on the parts) in regards to Bogarts. It was more likely that they ran into what a lot of dealers are running into these days...little traffic thru the showrooms, carrying several lines of motorcycles, in this part even if one line (say Triumph) is doing well but the others are sluggish, keeping salespeople, parts people, service department employees and the owners paid may be what breaks the proverbial camel's back...not to mention the overhead.
My dealer (D&D Cycles in Pensacola) just completed a major addition onto the original building and did a complete renovation on it and this was all completed just as the slowdown in the economy hit. They appear to have sold lot's of bikes, and have a good reputation as far as maintenance and repair of bikes, so they may not be doing as bad as some dealers are but I can easily see that with the new debt they incurred for doing that major renovation could easily be a "heavy" load to carry as far as meeting payroll and maintaining a "healthy" dealership.
Hope they can pull thru this.
