Dealer closes

Just recieved aletter, The dealer in Leicester where I bought my R3 2 months ago (in my pic) is closing on 19th December. Happy Christmas staff Now I know why my bike was much cheaper than elsewhere. Lucky for me that I have Jack Lilley Romford, Ongar MC, Norfolk Triumph and Suffolk Triumph all within 40 miles. The Stratstones group which mostly sell cars are also closing a Harley dealership near Leicester.
Feel a bit sorry for the sales guy I dealt with as he seemed straight up with me and he must of known at the time.

usually by thanksgiving 60-75% of the guys in the field are laid off but this year we have more work than workers so merry xmas.

Similar thing happened to friends of mine in a HD dealership in Southampton a few years ago.
There are simply too many dealers about for the potential sales. And the ones that survive are the ones that could start selling fridges in Alsaka tomorrow.
The dealer I bought my R3 from saw the signs and MOVED to another area - sadly 650kms away. They were and still are good.
