Took a drive down to Daytona today with my wife, daughter and Grandson, Gavin, to introduce him to the "bike scene". Drove the loop, did Main st twice and took a spin on Beach st. Ended up at my favorite restaurant, Martins in Flagler Beach. Guess what...only saw one Triumph and it was an older Bonney. Not one Rocket in sight. After dinner we stopped at a beach side ice cream stand in Flagler and the owner poked his head out the window, looking around the parking lot. He asked me where my Triumph was. I forgot I had my Rocket tee on. Told him he was outta luck. Explained that my leg was too stiff to ride it much. I did wash and wax her yesterday but had a hell of a time holding her up. Either way Gavin had a great time. He smiled at the loud bikes and some smiled and waved back at him. All in all it was a pretty nice day. Sorry, no pics. Im a voyeur, not a photographer....

Dave Perewitz left for there a few days ago i was wondering if he made it down there. A friend of mine sent me a few pictures.

I remember Dave had a tent on Main St in the past but I did not notice it today, but we never left the SUV either so I could have missed it. Weather was a chilly 74 degrees.

I was thinking you'd be in that red hot convertable.

That was the plan until my daughter and grandson decided to come along so we too the SUV. The back seat of a Mustang aint passenger friendly.

I was there (with my Rocket) for the first weekend but pulled out last Monday so my buddy could get back to work
