Here's an update on this product. Works good, the only drawback is the range. I have to be at the garage door before it works. I believe part of the problem is the fact I have it under the tank in the front, just behind the frame. all that metal will degrade the range.

I will see about relocating it when I have the tank up again to see if there is a difference.

I also want to setup what Subw00er posted. I know my remote has a range of at least 150'.

When I had to replace my garage door opener last year I ordered a couple extra transmitters along with it. One of them is a little key fob for my key ring, I keep the keys for the MINI and R3 on it. The only drawback to it is when it's in your pocket there is always the chance the button gets wedged on by change or whatever. I've had to replace the battery a couple times because it was stuck on for who-knows-how-long and ran the battery down. I end up using the key pad just outside the door most of the time anyway.

The wife has the bad habit of using the garage door like it's the front door and my opener gets used way too much. She opens and closes it for everything so the springs and opener don't last as long as they should. Boy, when those springs break it's like a bomb going off. BOOM !! lol
