couple folks are using puke tanks from hot rod manuafactueres ( Jegs etc)

I just shoved the stock tank in the left side panel..no more issue

I used a Hersheys chocolate container (for chocolate milk).
Put the top and bottom off a underseat air filter on it and put it where the old underseat filter use to live.
Perfect fit and it don't rattle around.
plus it holds about twice what our old tank holds.

Re: Coolant Recovery

My previously owned R3 came with a coolant recovery tank, but I have no idea if it is manufactured or home made.

See photo below (it's just to the right of the radiator shroud and behind the crash bar):

R3 Overheating

even though the rocket is a heat monster, no overheating problems. For me, I would like to replace the ugly puke tank and put something shiney in its' place.

Like Regulator, I put mine behind the left side pannel & did 2 of my mates rockets the same. Real easy mod, just swap the long & short hoses around. It fits easily & can be locked in place with a plastic tie. :D
