after a lot of checking and looking I built a very inexpensive lift table with plywood steel tubes (gas line) and lumber the whole thing $65 in supply I use the floorjack in the front and a small jack in the back due to the fact my floor is not flat .
I never though about checking the floor surface it does create problems but since I use the table once a month it is no big deal.
picture shows the lift at the low position about 10 inches of the ground ,the max is 19 inches above the ground
the blueprint are available on ebay for $17.

I would do a few things different considering the weight of the bike . I will modify a few things , front wheel clamp, latches, and width. beats the $1200 for a good table capable of handling the rocket

Wow what a beast! As long as those gas pipes hold up it looks like a handy lift. I'm jealous that you have the space for something that big.

lift

This may sound stupid but why would you need a lift table ?
simply put when you turn 60 + there is no pleasure crawling on the garage floor to change oil or doing any cleaning or any works below 35inches from the waistline call me again when your joints will reach this age .

hellfire
the steel pipes are 3/4 but I also put corner stands all around when wrenching for safety , and I use two floorjack when raising to 20 inches ,just in case!!

looks good to me and reasonable..I may build similar soon as waranty expires on my Rocket in August..will have to do a lot myself ..and I am 67 so I qualify for the Table!!!

Worse knees at 50 than I ever imagined at 40.. but at least I have a plywood lift to look forward to!

Understood.
You either spend a lot of time with your bike or you had too much fun back in the day to hurt that bad.

I always wanted a garage with a walk down pit .... too bad it never came to fruition.

both and not ready to stop ,
besides who said you grow old because you stop playing and not you stop playing because you grow old. life on a rocket is grand!!
