Said goodbye to a pair of old friends two days ago. So worn out that I left them in the parking lot and the homeless wouldn't take them. I took these old pals out for a motorcycle ride today before we part ways. Note melted holes from fire dancing around the grill. 20180907_142635.jpg

I have a pair of Sidi boots that are close to 6 years old. I finally decided that the soles were too worn to risk slipping and dropping the Rocket. A new pair of boots is inbound!

I still wear my 14 year old Red Wing boots bought in 2004 with my new V2K.

I feel better now. I thought I was experiencing diabetic nerve pain ( too much tv ) when it was worn out shoes.

Redwing used to resole making their boots virtually lifetime. Not sure if they still do.

Yes they do, I had them resoled twice. Then the leather done wore out!!
They don’t resole waterproof boots though.

If I wore them just for riding they would still be good. Construction beats the crap out of them.
