Just got back from a 3 day charity ride. 12 bikes involved. 9 Harleys, a Yammy, a 109 and my Rocket. Took our time travelling from Timmins, to Sudbury, Perry Sound, Sundridge, North Bay, then back home. Along the way we stopped at a memorial site in McKellar to cool off. Temps were in the mid 30s which is hot for us. Great time.

We usually get a group of guys and gals every year to support the Special Olympics for handicapped kids. Been doing it for several years. Last year we had 19 riders travelling the route below which includes a 2 hour ferry ride. We usually get a police motorcycle escort for the whole ride along with an escort pickup. Makes things easy going through some of the larger communities especially with a large group.
This year the trip fell through and some of the fellows got together to support another group called Mothers Against Drunk Drivers (MADD). No police escort and only 12 drivers evenly split. Trip wasn't as long but we took a lot of detours and photo shoots along the way stopping everywhere (route below). Not sure how much was raised since pledges still coming in. It was a worthwhile cause and fun.
