2017 Rocket 3 R modified trike to take wheelchair
Starting at the front.
O/H front brake callipers.
New Steering Damper.
New Clutch, Thrust Bearing & Lifter Arm.
New Exhaust System. (This is after market exhaust for 2.5 with DB Busters left in 103DB. Not too noisy. Carbon Fibre guard fabricated.
Modified reverse gear shift.
Hand brake moved to right side.
Fairing with mirrors mounted (Might consider screen later but much warmer).
Platform extended 6inches. Remote release for front bar latch. My feet were too close to rider. This has not affected the handling.
Fabricated step on left hand side to allow for Helmet removal.
Ramp now painted black with double strut.
Thats about it for now.
Waiting for warm weather

Saturday 21st of June was a lovely day up here in Glasgow. Me and Graham headed up to Tyndrum about 150mile round trip coming back through Callander. Clutch is working perfectly and with the reduced ratio in the diff, acceleration in 4th gear is mental. Using the Tomtom for speed we were reading 70mph in 4th and 95mph on speedo. The handling hasn't been affected by lengthening the platform. The clutch will still be a yearly consumable but I can live with that. Overall I am pleased with the mods. Back to bad weather here so will get some photos next trip out.

One shot is from the top of the rest and be thankful on the A83. I did a hill climb up the old road here on a Triumph Thunderbird minus sidecar. It went quite well with the lower gearing. Only competition I ever entered. It's 38miles to Inveraray. 8 of us used to get up at 5am to avoid the fuzz and the traffic. It's a better 38miles than the TT. They have been fixing the landslides on the Rest for as long as I can remember. The old Military road in down in the valley.
