Hey boys! Very long time; I hope you are all doing well and happy holidays/new year!

I'm sure this was covered, but I didn't see it - just got the Scorpion battery at 300-320 cold cranking amps (saw both #'s listed but BatteryStuff says 300 CCA).

I was curious what the CCA is on the stock batt?

It's not that much from memory. I was very happy with the Scorpion till it died earlier this year.

btw, it's good to see you back posting again.

Great to hear from you - I am pretty bad w computers and had trouble logging on a while back, tried for a while and gave up. Missed you all. So, I'm guessing the stick is probably under 200 CCA? How long did your Scirpion last? Mine is awesome so far - fires up when it's 35 F no problem. Stock needed over 50!

I jut put the same Scorpion AGM in my Carpentered 2007 Classic. Not up to the task so I had to put a smaller Sporster battery in parallel with it to get reliable starting.
I'm sure that if your motor is stock, it will be great.

I'm surprised the Scorpion wasn't up to the task. Been starting mine no problem in the cold, but I have it hooked up to a Battery Tender Plus.

Are you running the Carpenter 11.8:1 pistons? ( BIG DIFFERENCE! ) Sometimes mine would start..sometimes ..nothing!...which is why I added another battery.
