Cat bypass..

Can I install the cat bypass ,A9600160, with stock mufflers on a 07 R3 Standard? The add for the cat bypass says it can only be installed with off road mufflers. Is that just to keep the seller "Legal"?

The Triumph dealership at Destination Daytona installed one on my '06 with the stock mufflers and tuned it.

Same here.

Makes it sound a bit better...a slight rumble on the power up and a little poping on the power down.

Ditto for me Mitch. I had he cat bypass installed prior to setting out across country last June. Noticeable improvement.

New Tune?

Mike, Did you get another tune installed withthe cat bypass?

Same for me , never bothered with a new tune for 6 months or so , till I went with the tors also

Yes I did. I recently sent a note to the dealer asking which tune he used because it was not on my receipt. He could not tell be except that it was a Triumph tune but could look it up for me if I need be by my VIN. I then took it in for my 10k service in Lynnwood and they loaded another tune for the recall. Thus I have no idea which tune I have but it runs great with no issues.
