Cat Bypass and Solo Rack fitted

I bought a Triumph cat bypass and a Solo Rack from the US and it worked out cheaper than buying here in the UK, even with the shipping, how can this happen on British bike parts? the bypass was $350 £170 and the rack was $110 £50, $60 shipping, then I paid £70 VAT and duty total £320, less than the bypass is here, got them in less than a week. Got it all fitted today and well pleased with the sound, not too loud, It seems to run ok how important is it to change the tune with this setup?

As for the cost, did you buy them from a US dealer or from eBay?

Got them from a shop called British Customs which as it happens is where they went before being delivered to me, hence the VAT and import duty!
