For Sale Carpenter 240 kit Rocket for sale

I just queried them on FB.
Finally got a reply out of the blue today. Yes it is still for sale at your local EX-Motus dealer! ;)
The business is closed but it must still be there and is probably a bargain!

Silly question: could one retrofit ABS ?

As they say, nearly anything is possible with enough money. Selling the bike and buying one with ABS might be more feasible at least financially than retrofitting.

Unless there is some kind of standalone ABS kit one can fit to any bike/assuming you'd be using Triumph parts, you'd need to change the wiring harness, fit the ABS modulator etc under the swingarm behind the engine, replace the brake lines, at least modify but probably have to replace the wheels to be able to fit the ABS rings and sensors, might need to replace forks or at least weld a knob onto the existing one to stop the front sensor turning, possibly the ECU, (not sure if you'd "need" to but there is a dedicated ABS fault light on the Roadster clocks too, so if you wanted this then that would require clocks replaced too, this would definitely need the ECU to match).

Anyway that's about retrofitting Roadster ABS to a 04-09 Rocket III inc. Classic & Tourer.
Fitting a factory non-ABS Touring with Touring ABS might be a bit more straightforward.

Ya its a 08 so the first thing you should look at is the last 6 of the vin number. Reason being is a carpenter package is harder on a bike so you want to know if its the updated engine or not especially if no one has split the engine cases.
