Did you manage to meet up today?

I'm really disappointed that I couldn't ride there today and hope there will be another opportunity to meet up?

I still can't get my helmets on (tried 2 today). My neck is so swollen that I now have no chin for a chinstrap ??? I also tried a full facer but squeezed too tight...ouch!

Hope you had a good chinwag (pun intended).

Yes mate Tomcat, CanberraR3 and I had a chin wag under the Story bridge (I could talk Rockets all day). Sorry you couldn't make it mate, get your self all healed up then maybe come for a run to the Coast with TC and any other Rocket owners from Brisbane that want to come.

G'day Binnsy,we heard about your attempt to squeeze your head into a helmet.Been wondering how you been coping without riding..guess trying to jam your nearly decapitated head into a lid says it all. It was a wise move not requesting a home visit from us ( Gothlander could'nt help himself and lit it up leaving the Bunker..hooligan).Was good to meet Canberra face to face and likes been said 2 minutes after intros the Rocket talk started... was good!! So just sing out when the helmet DOES fit and a rides on for sure mate.

Goth, I ride the Gold Coast hinterland almost every weekend when I'm not crook. I will give you a nudge on this site as soon as I am up to it. I met Tomcat a while back but didn't get an opportunity to talk much, we were just pulling up for fuel.

Tomcat, I wouldn't mind a home visit if I had one! I'm bunking at my kids place until I am better or well enough to look after myself.
And yes I really did try to get a helmet on when my daughter wasn't looking. She expects me to be sensible because i'm sick. Too late for me to get sensible ...?

Hey you Brisbane guys, are there any Roadsters around locally with The Stain Tune exhaust with the cross over. I would live to hear one.
The bike shop was telling me there is a local guy that cuts the stock mufflers and fits a free flowing crossover.

Hey Binnsy, just saw this - been at a couple of the "Worlds" today with the kids and my lovely lady. Pity you couldn't make it. Arrived at the pub and was wondering if I'd gone to the right place but as soon as I saw those 2 beautiful black babies sitting there I knew I was in the right place.

Tomcat's got some wild T Bars on his ride, lots of black and a super cut down fender (well a ring-in at least) - very cool. Gothlander's ride pretty neat too. He's running darkside so I'm sorry I had to leave before he left - would have loved to have seen him light up that fat 245 when he left. Both with TORS; wish I'd had mine there too. 'Nother time mate. Take care of yourself.

There were so many people checking out the bikes I thought they would like to hear it. The tire lighting up was the side effect of hard acceleration from the intersection. A hooligan TC ? I think of myself as more of a mild mannered gentleman.
